1. Introduction

ZC BRICKS CO ("ZC BRICKS", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard information when you visit our website at zcbricks.com, use our mobile application distributed via Google Play, or otherwise interact with our sales, dispatch, and customer service operations based in Attock, Pakistan.

By using our website or mobile application, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users of:

  • Our public website at zcbricks.com;
  • The ZC BRICKS Android application published on the Google Play Store;
  • Communications with our sales, dispatch, and support teams via phone, email, or contact forms.

It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications linked from our platforms, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact details — name, company, phone number, and email address submitted through quote request forms or direct correspondence;
  • Order information — product selection, quantities, delivery site, and project timeline;
  • Account credentials — if you register within the mobile application, we store a username and hashed password.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information (mobile app only);
  • Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access, referring URL;
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used on our website to maintain sessions and analyse aggregate traffic. You may disable cookies through your browser settings.

3.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, SMS content, or health data. Our mobile application does not integrate with social media accounts.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • To respond to quote requests and provide product, pricing, and dispatch information;
  • To process and fulfil orders, coordinate delivery, and issue invoices;
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website and mobile application;
  • To communicate service updates, order confirmations, and administrative notices;
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorised, or illegal activity;
  • To comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — logistics partners, hosting providers, and payment processors who assist us in operating our business, bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • Legal compliance — where required by law, regulation, court order, or legitimate government request;
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to standard confidentiality safeguards.

6. Mobile Application Permissions

In line with Google Play requirements, we disclose all runtime permissions our Android application requests and their purpose:

  • Internet Access — required to load product data, submit forms, and sync order status;
  • Network State — used to detect connectivity for offline caching;
  • Storage (scoped) — to save downloaded product datasheets and invoices when the user explicitly requests it.
Sensitive Permissions Our application does not request access to Camera, Contacts, Location, SMS, Call Logs, Microphone, Accounts, or Accessibility Services. Should any future release require additional permissions, this policy will be updated prior to distribution and users will be notified in-app.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for credentials, restricted internal access, and periodic security review.

No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Typical retention windows are:

  • Quote enquiries — 24 months from last contact;
  • Order and invoice records — retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with tax and commercial record-keeping obligations;
  • Website logs — 90 days.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information ("right to erasure"), subject to legal retention obligations;
  • Withdraw consent to communications at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14 below. We aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at businesses, contractors, and adult purchasers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

11. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate website usage. These providers collect information governed by their own privacy policies. Our mobile application does not embed advertising SDKs.

12. International Data Transfers

Personal information is primarily stored on servers located in Pakistan. Where information is transferred to service providers outside Pakistan, we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, and — where changes affect our mobile application — by an in-app notice on next launch. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
